While there have been many victories in the battle for social justice, it is far from over. For more than 100 years, Penn’s School of Social & Practice (SP2, formerly the School of Social Work) has been on the front lines. Its mission: to contribute to the advancement of more effective, efficient, and humane human services through education, research, and civic engagement. Its tireless leader: Dean & Richard Perry University Professor, John L. Jackson, Jr.
“Dean Jackson has dreams,” says Erica Zaveloff, Asst. Director of Institutional Advancement at SP2. “He is thinking big. He wants to change Philadelphia. He wants to change Pennsylvania. He wants to change Penn. He has plans to change the world.”
The best way to support Dean Jackson’s dreams? A gift to the SP2 Annual Fund. Contributions to the Annual Fund are unrestricted, which means they can be immediately put to use on the School’s greatest areas of need at the discretion of Dean Jackson. They support, but are not limited to: tuition assistance, faculty recruitment & retention, facilities, technology, and more.
