It’s cutting-edge curriculum applies social work and policy theories to real world issues, serving as a catalyst for tangible, positive change.

School of Social Policy & Practice Giving Opportunities

Endowed and Term Professorships: Star faculty help SP2 to educate future leaders who will confront societal problems in a time of diminishing resources, provide leadership to nonprofit organizations, and design and facilitate real-world solutions while fostering meaningful societal change.

Graduate Financial Aid: SP2 remains committed to making a graduate education both possible and affordable for those students dedicated to uplifting oppressed peoples around the world.

Program & Research Centers Support: In the pursuit of social justice, SP2 encourages students to think across disciplines, cultures, ages, genders, and boundaries to contribute positively to society, both locally and globally. Innovative educational and research programs, such as those listed below, reinforce the education, research, and civic engagement that make up the foundation for this next generation of change-makers.

Goldring Reentry Initiative (GRI):  Through the Goldring Reentry Initative, students have the opportunity to work with those transitioning from prison.

The Ann Nolan Reese Penn Aging Concentration (PAC): Students in the Ann Nolan Reese Penn Aging Concentration (PAC) focus their efforts on gerontological social work, helping to affect social change for the elderly.
